Newport Flower Show

On June 24, 2018,  members of the Wollaston Garden Club went on a field trip to the Newport Flower Show at the beautiful Rosecliff Mansion.  HIghlights included interesting vendors, gorgeous horticultural exhibits and stunning floral designs.

The backdrop of the mansion and grounds overlooking Narragansett Bay and the Cliff Walk was inspiring, and we were treated to an orchestra under a tent while we shopped and snacked.  We toured “Tiny Houses” and admired the “Picket Fence” Garden themed displays done by other area garden clubs.

Our tour guide ended the day with a leisurely excursion along Ocean Drive and a picnic lunch at Brenton Point State Point State Park .  Be sure to save this date for 2019!
