Suzanne Mahler, gardener, photographer and plant lecturer presented "Putting the Garden to Bed" Suzanne, who has been developing her 1.5 acre garden for the past 30 years, gave her expert advice on winterizing your garden. She spoke extensively on perennials, transplanting and dividing plants, compost, lawn care and other tips to prepare your established garden for the New England winter.

After a brief business meeting, attendees enjoyed refreshments provided by head hostess Mary Ryan and her assistants. Barbara Linden provided a Halloween-themed buffet table arrangement.

The horticulture display was full with vegetables and flowers in bloom from our members.
